Is that a holiday you use that phrase with?
So, the reason this one is late is because that sore throat I had on friday blew up into a decent cold, and I didn't feel like doing anything. On the plus side, I now have about 28 hours of FFXII done.

How is it?
Pretty good. I still have an issue with the combat system (in that it's more like an mmorpg than a traditional final fantasy game), but I don't mind it that much. I do like the setting, and the storys pretty good so far, not that I've seen much of that, because I've spent most of my time killing mercilessly.
I have only about 2 hours in FFXII. I'm still iffy about the combat system, myself. We have been playing Justice League Heroes all weekend. It is awesome! Superman flying and fighting with cars, Batman calling down bats, Wonderwoman swinging her lasso. Yeah, it's fun. Especially how much stuff you can destroy or pick up. The alternate costumes are good, too.
I prefer Marvel to DC. That new game coming out with all the Marvel heroes looks cool too. Nothing against DC though. Love Green Lantern especially.
Guess I have to admit I liked that FF games still had turn-based systems when everything else had gone all actiony-like. I never played XI.
The story so far is very interesting...I like the FFII/IV vibes.
